Hi, Artie here! Artie Bars™ are my signature shortbread, caramel and chocolate treats inspired by the tasty dessert known as Millionaire Shortbread. I’m always cooking up new flavors, but you’ll know an Artie Bar by its trademark three decadent layers, shortbread base and hefty (nearly ½ lb.) size. 

I started baking as a way to try a new hobby in 2018. My first bake was a disaster: a batch of cinnamon rolls that stopped me at the yeast-mixing step three times in a row. I had to go to the store and buy more yeast TWICE before those things even got into the oven. Over time, my baking got better. It gave me such pride and joy to share my love in the form of sweets with family, friends, and coworkers. One thing led to another and I took my layoff from the tech world as a sign to take the leap into Artie Bars as my full time gig in 2024. 

Each Artie Bar is handcrafted from scratch, made in small batches in Raleigh, North Carolina by me: Artie Januario. Artie Bars ship nationwide and can be found throughout the Triangle area.
