An Artie Bar is a freaking TREAT. Our original is a spin on classic Millionaire Shortbread, which has a layer of homemade shortbread, hand-crafted caramel and scratch made chocolate ganache. We remix the recipe with other varieties like coffee, white chocolate and orange macadamia.
An Artie Bar will always have three layers with a cookie base and be a big, decadent, nearly 1/2 pound delight.
Quite large. Each bar is three, thick layers and weighs ~6 ounces or almost 1/2 pound. It’s hefty in the palm of your hand and we like to think one Bar is about four servings. Savor it, share it, or devour it. It’s your Bar!
We recommend enjoying your Artie Bar within a week or two of arrival, but it should at least 21 days after. Store in an air-tight baggie or container for maximum freshness. You may store individually wrapped Artie Bars in the freezer for up to 3 months.
We recommend enjoying your Artie Bar at room temperature. They’re stored just fine in an air-tight container on your counter or in your pantry.
Shortbread is a naturally crumbly cookie, and it’s the base of our Artie Bars. Some customers have found that popping the Bar in the fridge helps control the crumbling when cutting the bar into smaller pieces.
In response to overwhelming customer demand, we are pleased to serve our perfected gluten free version of the original Artie Bar! Same three layers of perfection, but no gluten. Our gluten free flour substitute contains millet flour, potato & tapioca starches, rice flour, sorghum flour and xantham gum. Shop them, here.
While we are working on new formulations all the time, currently (with the exception of our Gluten Free Bar) all Artie Bars contain gluten (wheat flour), dairy (milk, butter) and egg. We bake in a facility where tree nuts and peanuts are present in the building and may be near shared equipment.

Finally, we take pride in our craft, small-batch recipe so we bake to order. Please allow for approximately 2 days handling and 2 - 5 days for shipment, depending on how close to Raleigh you are. All orders are tracked and insured. You’ll get a tracking number emailed to you upon fulfillment.
