An Artie Bar is our take on classic Millionaire Shortbread, which has a layer of homemade shortbread, hand-crafted caramel and scratch made chocolate ganache. We remix the recipe with other varieties like Coffee, Vanilla Bean and Peanut Butter...plus some surprise seasonals.

An Artie Bar will always have three layers with a cookie base and be a big, decadent, nearly 1/2 pound delight.

Quite large. Each bar is three, thick layers and weighs ~6 ounces or almost 1/2 pound. It’s hefty in the palm of your hand and we like to think one Bar is about four servings. Savor it, share it, or devour it. It’s your Bar!

In our original packaging, the Artie Bars are good for about 3 months. Freeze them to last longer!

We recommend enjoying your Artie Bar at room temperature. They’re stored just fine in an air-tight container on your counter or in your pantry.

Shortbread is a naturally crumbly cookie, and it’s the base of our Artie Bars. Some customers have found that popping the Bar in the fridge helps control the crumbling when cutting the bar into smaller pieces.

YES! Same three layers of perfection, but no gluten. Our gluten free flour substitute contains millet flour, potato & tapioca starches, rice flour, sorghum flour and xantham gum. Shop them, here.

Currently (with the exception of our Gluten Free Bar) all Artie Bars contain gluten (wheat flour), dairy (milk, butter), soy (chocolate) and egg. We bake in a facility where tree nuts and peanuts are present in the building and may be near shared equipment.

Please allow 2 - 5 days for shipment, depending on how close to Raleigh you are. You’ll get a tracking number emailed to you upon fulfillment. We highly recommend adding Route package insurance to your cart.

No. You can pick your SHIP date but not your delivery date. This is because our shippers cannot guarantee delivery and we don't want to lead you on!

Our Artie Bars are roughly the consistency of a candy bar. If a chocolate bar was mailed to you: would it melt? If so, ours will to.

On the summer, we ship our Artie Bars on ice.

Yes! We are pleased to offer shipping insurance through Route, a service trusted by hundreds of big name brands.

If you opt in for Route shipping, your order is 100% covered in the event of it getting lost, stolen, late or damaged/melted. It's less than $2/order. We highly recommend using it!

We allow you to select a SHIP date, but not a delivery date. Once a package leaves our bakery, we have no control of how fast or slow it takes to get to you (which stinks). We offer overnight and "2 Day" shipping via UPS, both of which UPS guarantees via a refund if they don't deliver on time.

If you ship Ground, which is our standard method, UPS gives an estimate but note that these are BUSINESS days and can sometimes be delayed a day or two.

Usually: yes! While we are currently experiencing a huge rush for the holidays so close to Christmas, we are only offering fresh baked packs so we can get as many out the door as possible.

Keep an eye on our site in Janaury for the return of "build-a-bundle!"
